Biography

Hafeez Owolabi Mahmud is a Lecturer II in the Department of Computer Engineering. He obtained his National Diploma (ND) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kwara State Polytechnic. He then proceeded to the University of Ilorin, where he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is a Registered Engineer with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). His area of specialization is Measurement and Instrumentation and his research interest cuts across control systems, embedded systems, intelligent systems, and renewable energy. He teaches courses in microprocessor systems and interfacing, embedded system design, and prototyping techniques. He is a practicing engineer engaged in electrical and renewable energy facilities development, instrumentation and control systems development for public utilities and residential infrastructure.
